Through the Academy’s Long COVID/PASC initiative, the Academy gained experience in developing consensus guidance statements through the AAPM&R Multi-disciplinary PASC Collaborative. Our PASC learnings prompted the Evidence, Quality and Performance Committee (EQPC) to explore a path for developing practice guidance statements for other important clinical areas for PM&R through the translation of their systematic environment scans and evidence reviews into AAPM&R Specialty Practice Guidance.
