• The Joint Commission
  Web site of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

• MEDLINEplus
  Extensive information from the National Institutes of Health and other trusted sources on over 500 diseases and conditions. There are also lists of hospitals and physicians, a medical encyclopedia and dictionaries, health information in Spanish, extensive information on prescription and nonprescription drugs, current health news and links to thousands of clinical trials.

• MedSun (Medical Product Safety Network)
  This program is designed to improve our understanding of medical device use so that the FDA, healthcare facilities, clinicians and manufacturers can better address safety concerns. Over 350 health care facilities, primarily hospitals, participate in the MedSun network. The FDA wants to share what we know about medical device problems beyond the 350 MedSun sites to the broader health professional community. MedSun has a considerable amount of medical device and patient safety information including a monthly newsletter.
