More than 500 physiatrists stopped by our booth and engaged with us to learn more about Visioning PM&R Bold and/or share their feedback about physiatry's future. Your Academy is Reviewing the MACRA Final Rule | On October 14, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized the new Medicare Quality Payment Program. The new Quality Payment Program will gradually transform Medicare payments for more than 600,000 clinicians across the country, and is a major step in improving care across the entire health care system. Your Academy is currently reviewing the 2,400 page final ruling to determine how it will impact physiatry specifically. Learn more. | |
Take Advantage of the PQRSwizard® | The Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) is a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)-mandated quality reporting program that gives eligible professionals (EPs) incentives and negative payment adjustments to promote reporting of quality information. PQRSwizard® is an online reporting tool, offered in partnership with CECity, which allows for individual EPs to report their PQRS data. The deadline for quality reporting using the PQRSwizard® is February 28, 2017—take advantage of this resource to avoid up to an 8-10% penalty in 2018.
