New PM&R Journal App Now Available!

Members & Publications

May 11, 2020

AAPM&R is excited to announce that its scientific journal, PM&R, is now available via an easy-to-use app—on both Apple and Android platforms.

Academy members already receive free access to all journal content online 24/7, including journal CME activities, such as self-assessment examinations for practitioners (SAE-Ps). The new app is just another way to bring today’s most sought-after PM&R research to our members on-the-go. The goal of the publication remains the same: to advance education and impact the specialty through the timely delivery of clinically-relevant and evidence-based research and review information.

Follow the instructions below to access the purple journal’s new app:

  • Download the PM&R Journal app from Apple's App Store or Google Play and launch the app from your device.
  • When the app opens, click “I already have access” from the overlay.
  • Select “Through my society affiliation” and if necessary, choose PM&R from the list.
  • You will be prompted to enter your AAPM&R log-in credentials. Enter them, and click “Log In.”

If you need to reset your AAPM&R password, follow the instructions below:

Legislation Introduced to Alleviate Impact of Conversion Factor Cut for 2021

Nov 09, 2020

Last month, two bills were introduced in the House proposing solutions to the estimated 10.6% Physician Fee Schedule conversion factor cut expected to go into effect January 1, 2021.  The bills offer some relief to the cut, but do not reflect a comprehensive or long-term solution.  AAPM&R has therefore chosen to remain neutral regarding these bills.

Your Academy continues to advocate for a permanent solution to the conversion factor cut while maintaining the important payment increases to office and outpatient evaluation and management services.
