To claim your CME, you’ll need to complete a short evaluation for each session you attend live at the Assembly or watch on-demand. This evaluation will be available on your Online Learning Portal account at the end of the day after viewing the session.
Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Similar to past Annual Assemblies, the credit claimed will automatically be transferred to the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR).
The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.
CME Credit Designation
AAPM&R designates Annual Assembly live educational sessions for a maximum of 136 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAPM&R designates credit separately for each pre-Assembly session held prior to the Annual Assembly. Physicians may claim up to 2.5 to 2.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for participation in each of the pre-Assembly sessions.
AAPM&R requires all individuals who are in a position to control the content of an educational activity to disclose all relevant financial relationships with any commercial interest, which is any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients. Disclosures are made in written form prior to the start of the educational activity and any potential conflicts of interest that exist are resolved prior to the start of the activity through AAPM&R’s Conflict of Interest Disclosure and Resolution Policy Process.
